Freight Carrier honoured by logistics trade magazines

In the latest, worldwide survey conducted by the respected US logistics trade magazine “Air Cargo World”, Lufthansa Cargo ranked first among 81 airlines as the best airfreight company. Lufthansa Cargo also earned top ratings among the readers of ”Cargonews Asia”. They selected the company as the ”Best Air Cargo Carrier Europe“.

”Of course, we are delighted about this award. It shows us that we are on the right track because we continuously work on our quality, reliability and services. Only in doing so will we be able to continue to retain this leading position in future”, according to Carsten Spohr, Chairman of the Executive Board of Lufthansa Cargo AG. 

Around 5,500 executives of the leading freight forwearding companies took part in Air Cargo World’s worldwide survey. Four criteria flowed into the airline evaluation: customer service, performance, the price/benefit ratio and the information technologies employed. In all areas, Lufthansa Cargo occupied one of the top places.

Lufthansa Cargo also received a further award on 25th April 2007 in Macau/Asia. The repected trade newspaper „Cargonews Asia“ awarded the cargo carrier the AFSCA-Prize (Asian Freight & Supply Chain Award) in the category ”Best Air Cargo Carrier Europe“.
